I am looking at using Azure, for an upcoming research project. I was wondering if one was able to run multiple VM's in a single VM to run a test environment of chain capabilities and other virtual network options.
If so, what would be the best way for me to go about this? or am I required to purchase a VM for every single VM that I would like to run in my test environment.

Hi all,
I have installed and configured a TFS Server in an IaaS machine in Azure, and locally everything works fine.
My problem is with the connection between my client Visual Studio to this server.
I have all the recommended ports open in the "inbound" section inside the azure portal, and I disabled the windows firewall in the machine and doesn´t work.
If I execute a ping or tracert the machine doesn`t answer.
I can't access via web access neither.
The problem maybe is a connectivity issue but I don't know if I have to open anything else.
Can anyone help me?

I am trying to publish an application to Ubuntu server using docker tools for VS. After publishing I am getting below error

Hi hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.
I need a VM to run RDS and RD Web App for 10 users.
The VM also needs to run SQL Express, IIS and be publicly accessible.
Use on the VM will be light so i am hoping all these roles can be installed on the one VM.
What are the licensing requirements for RDS for 10 users? Do i need to buy RDS CAL's and install on my VM once configured?

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1) Create a new DevTest Lab on Azure Portal(new)
2) Add a new VM to the Lab
3) Delete the VM
4) Delete the Lab
Steps 1 to 3 completes successfully.
Unable to perform step 4, because there is reference available to the deleted VM in the Lab.
Is there any powershell command to perform force delete.

I am trying to figure out whats the best way to, using powershell, create a new Virtual machine and given a .bat or ps1 file to run it as soon as the machine starts to install and configure IIS / FTP server.
I have read about azure DSC but don't think its the solution in this case.

One of my Basic A1 machines with Win Server 2008 R2 is suddenly running horribly slow. All that is running is a small access database and win task manager. Connected through RDS. Routinely freezes for 5 - 10 seconds, and as it un-freezes, CPU % shows 100. Any ideas on what to check first? Thanks.
Can someone point at some documentation of adding a ARM VM to Azure within your existing vnet. All I can find is creating a new vnet on creation.
I actually already have the vhd, and I want to reattach the VHD to a new VM and connect it to an existing network. I'm sure its easy, but I am having a tough time.
