Unable to delete disks after deleting VM.

I am new to this.  I tried to remove the disks and the error

There is currently a lease on the blob and no lease ID was specified in the request. RequestId:46f95cf6-d9b5-48c2-a717-41a0af01cf97 Time:2013-12-03T12:44:10.7461474Z

I created a VM and I attached another disk.  But when I deleted the VM I chose the option to retain the disks and delete the VM.  It removed the VM but the lease attached to disks is not removed by your system prior to removing the VM.  This could be a bug.  

Now the disks can neither be deleted nor attached to any VM.
