GPO Printers in a RDS Farms

Hello,

First thank you for your Forum and your support.

Second, here is the problem I am running into.

1. We moved to AZURE almost a year ago. I am migrating OUR Sites one by one.

2. We are using think client to connect to AZURE. We have a farms of 3 servers right now. more to come.

3. We have currently 100 users using AZURE... more to come by the end of the year.

4. I am trying to deploy some printers by GPO but I am running into some problems.

Here is what I have done :

A. installed the printers on AD Server. Added them to the AD.

B. Created Group in the AD. For exemple "NameoftheSite_Printers" and added the users in it.

C. I deployed the printer for the users group using GPO and set the Target for the Terminal Server and also the user group. I set also the printer as the default one for those users.

Bug :

1. When I connect to the server. I see my printer for that user group but also the printers for other site.

2. My printer most of the time is not the default one but another printer.

3. Sometime, and very often, the PDF can't print. We have to remote control the session, delete the printer and add it manually.

4. I also tried to add a printer to delete all printers by check "delete all printer" and targeting it to the user Group. Well that did work for one person in that group and when he moved to another RDS Server, it did not work anymore :)

....

This is better and better... if I look how it was 2 weeks ago but I can't manage to make it work properly.

I saw many things on the internet which are good solution but not 100% to resolve my problem.

Any Advices ?

Thank you
