VHD still associated with deleted VM

Hi,

I deleted a VM from my Azure account hoping to recreate it using its associated VHD. However, the VHD associated with the deleted VM still shows that it is associated with it even though I have deleted the VM! It has been over nearly 30 hours since I deleted the VM so the lock should have been release by now

I have searched online for the solution and it seems like there was a way to fix this but not anymore. Any idea how I can release the VHD?
