creating and fully take all data from an existing VM to a new VM.

I have a running RDS server on its own subscription with multiple other services; such as, Network, storage and also another VM for AD.

I have a new MPN AZURE Subscription that I like use and migrate 1 Virtual Machine the RDS Server to it. This way the MPN Subscription will only deal for the RDS Server.

I opened a case with AZURE Billing, and they told me better to create a new VM with the new MPN Subscription and move the VHD of the existing one.

I just needed a better guidance and help to accomplish this as the current RDS Server is set with a public IP and got SSL to it.

If I detach thre VHD, and reatch it to asnew VM, will the machine have the same name, IP ect... ?
