I have two Azure VM machines in one cluster. Installed one SQL FCI and all is working ok .. but only from the node where the instance is running .. and not from the other node of the cluster .. or from any other node in the same subnet/domain.
From the node where the instance is running .. I can ping node ip, the other node IP, cluster ip and instance IP and I can connect fine to SQL.
From the other node (or any other machine same subnet/domain) - I can only ping the node ip .. but not the cluster ip and not the instance IP and I can not connect to SQL.
I disabled all firewall on all machines and verified all DNS entries and SQL port is 1433.
Any help to identify where this problem might be?
