Hi,
I'm planing migrating my Suse Server to Azure and successfully created a virtual machine. But I have concerns regarding the worst case scenario: the machine is not responding anymore. No matter if it was my mistake or something other went wrong. What can I do in this case? Normally I would tell my server hoster to connect a KVM or boot up a live distribution with VNC enabled and fix the problems myself via remote access. But I have not found such option as "CD remote boot" or such in my my Azure admin panel. For Windows I could use a safe and revert the entire VM to an earlier state. But thats not possible with Linux.
What are my options? I definitely need at least a way to import an old snapshot of the entire system or - better - startup a temporary failsafe system.
Thanks for suggestions in advance!
