I have set up a MongoDB 2.6.3, 4 machine, replica set with Ubuntu 14.04 VM. I have noticed in the logs of each of the replica set members that there DNS resolution errors, as well as having a Python 2.7 application built using Pymongo which after about 10 minutes or so stops working throwing the following two errors:
pymongo.errors.AutoReconnect: [Errno 110] Connection timed out
bson.errors.InvalidDocument: BSON document too large (7754 bytes) - the connected server supports BSON document sizes up to 0 bytes
The MongoDB Servers are running on A5 instances and the Python server is running on an A2 instance.
The Python app is running through uWSGI behind Nginx.
I have also been experiencing issues creating new VM where the VM takes nearly an hour to start.
