Hi,
I am considering Azure to host our new web based information system which is currently under development. We use tools like VS2013, PostgreSQL database, ADO.NET provider for PostgreSQL and third party ASP.NET web forms controls. I have watched some Azure video tutorials and now I have the big picture but my main concern is about PostgreSQL database.
1. Is the "Infrastructure as a service" approach my best choice so I can install anything I need like PostgreSQL for Windows?
2. Can I host our web site in one VM and the PostgreSQL DB in "another place" within the Azure platform? If so, how would this be?
