I had a simple application which runs fine on my laptop. Now, I want to run the same exact app on Azure VM. I choose Windows 2008 as the server, and choose "optimize for applications", I also selected run for best performance. We are using this on the TRIAL version of Azure cloud, but we also have MSDN subscriptions which I believe is the same thing.
Now, this simple single application runs VERY VERY slow when I run it on the multiprocessor server from Azure. Can you explain what else I can do to make Azure run my app faster?
It also says the processors are AMD A7, but seems to make no difference is I set it to A3.
This is important we get this resolved, because we are evaluating different cloud services as a company and I would like to use Azure VM if possible.
