now that Azure supports connecting VNETs between Azure DCs/Regions, can we configure now a SQL Server secondary replica on another DC thats connected via a site-to-site VPN between Azure DCs?
I have an AlwaysOn Availability Group configured in the East US and I want to configure a secondary replica in West US. When i use the Add Azure Replica Wizard, it only displays the VNet that's currently hosting the existing replicas. I have two other VNets configured but it's not available in the Virtual Network dropdown.
am i missing a step? the VNETs are configured properly and site-to-site VPN between East US and West US are configured.
