We are planning to run a few VM's for legacy systems on Azure as we already host services to be consumed and SQL databases on the same Azure datacentre.
User access will be provided via RDP.
Our only concern is how can users be warned to save their work before an OS update?
Can a trigger be provided x minutes before OS update? We can then initialize a shutdown procedure (.bat or .exe) on receiving this trigger.
