Cannot update to internet explorer 11 in an MSDN azure VM

MSDN subscription used to create Visual Studio 2013 update 2 VM

This VM has internet explorer 10 and no way of upgrading to 11. When I try to update I get the message "Internet explorer already installed"

Anyone has any clue why this happens?
