We have 2 virtual machines belonging to an availability set with a load balance set configured. They are identical installs except for the local IP on the virtual network. They host 4 websites using IIS's binding to direct to the proper site from the single public ip. One of the websites uses SSL and the same certificate is used on both servers. Everything works fine with only one server bound to the public ip through http (port 80) and https (port 443) endpoints. Once we add the second server to the load balance set, clients start getting Page Not Available. On and Android client we are getting a SSL Handshake error. On IE we get the page not available but no details as to why.
I have not been able to find any posts with similar problems, so I am suspecting we have something wrong in our configuration. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
