My initial understanding is Azure disk is something like AWS EBS, i.e. when you shutdown the instance, you can start a new one without losing data.
But when I see this: http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/storage/
Then it sound like that the "Page Blobs and Disks" is on the top of "Geographically Redundant Storage (GRS)", then it is very cool since EBS is just a like a local SAN but Azure disk is a global SAN with min. copy of 6, right?
Am I correct?
