There is an option (Also delete blobs snapshots) when delete 'Available' blob from Azure Portal.
What is the reason of this "Delete Blobs Snapshots"? It is only applicable if Soft Delete is enabled?

Error in point to site VPN "The connection was prevented because of a policy configured on your RAS/VPN server."
I have a vm in azure from where i connect to different vm in my azure subscription using point to site connection.
i have vnet gateways for all those vms.
suddenly my one vpn connection stopped and giving error like :
"The connection was prevented because of a policy configured on your RAS/VPN server.
Specifically, the authentication method used by the server to verify your username and password may not match the authentication method
configured in your connection profile. Please contact the Administrator of the RAS server and notify them of this error. (Error 812)"
i could connect to other vnet gateways and vms. but could not connect some vms under one vne and gateway, i am getting above message for them.
All vms are 2012R2.

Migrate on-prem Hyper-V VM to Azure
So I have a question. I'm used to replicating my VMs to azure using site recovery. Im now facing an issue with one of our clients having a very slow upload speed and needing to send the initial copy over that slow line, it's about 900gb that needs to be replicated.
What I did is I exported the VM and uploaded the disks from our office (which has a very fast connection) and created the VM in azure. I have my standard scripts for this. Now I want to replicate this VM and then select use a copy at the destination server.
This takes also a long time. Am I missing something here?
Issue is that this server is a production server and almost never can be turned off. Any tips for me to get this server in Azure?
And no, giving it to Microsoft is not an option because its already in Azure the machine but the data is 5 days old (it took me around 20 hours to upload it and get the external disks where I exported the vhds to, took me about 2 days to get it).
Error messages when starting the replication:
Hyper-V failed to replicate changes for virtual machine 'VM' (Virtual machine ID -------). Hyper-V will retry replication after 5 minute(s).
And
Operation failed for virtual machine 'VM' because the replication provider handle is not valid. Review the provider event logs for details. (Virtual machine ID ----)

Hyper V to Azure Migration
Hi,
I have migrated few Windows 2016 Server VM(s) from Hyper V to Azure. Migration was successful & VM is also running in Azure.
My issue is I am unable to RDP the VM. When I view the Screenshot of VM in Diagnostic NIC showing disabled. This is happening with all VM(s).
Pls. help.

OSLanguage
In an azure Testaccount I installed a Windows 2016 OS and changed the language to german. On the desktop all ist ok (Date, Region). If I install a software I get the information, that the OSLanguage ist still english (1033) and not german (1031). The installation of the software stops after this message.
How can I change the OSLanguage completly.

Cannot delete managed disk, because it says it's attached to the VM which has been deleted
I have an issue with two disks. I am not able to delete them even though the VM to which they were attached has been deleted already. Moreover, I cannot access those VM's as they do not exists.
Both disks are managed HDD disks.

Remote Desktop Services are currently busy
I have a user who is trying to RDP onto our Azure VM. I can login fine, however under his login he gets.
"The task you are trying to do cant be completed because Remote Desktop Services is currently busy. Please try again in a few minutes. Other users should still be able to log on"
Obviously a reboot fixed the problem short term, however need a fix to stop this occuring again.

Unable to ping to gateway or the domain from Azure Vm
Hi,
I am trying to perform an IPsec VPN to Microsoft Azure setup. I have constructed everything according from https://cookbook.fortinet.com/ipsec-vpn-microsoft-azure-56/
However, I was unable to ping from my Azure VM to my gateway and client side domain. The essential reading for the connection shows connected and there are few data in and out were display. Is there any method to solve this problem?

Navigate to a website that contains the same domain as Azure AD domain services
I have a custom domain name setup with ourdomain.org in Azure AD and a Azure AD domain service running with ourdomain.org with a virtual network and a VM. I have a website hosted by another company that has an address https://ourdomain.org and when I try
to go to the website from the VM, it tries to go to a local IP of the virtual network rather than going out to the internet for the website. How can I make the browser on the VM bypass the local IP and go to the website on the internent?

All background software been killed during Health Event Activated
Dear Team,
Recently I noticed an issue with following error/message in "Activity Log",

Health Event InProgress
Due to this, all running software have been killed during this time period.
Anything we can do to avoid this - I'd like have all those software running without expectation.

Azure Lab : Cannot login in to vms created from the template vm
I'm using azure labs , have created a template vm of ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I can login to this template VM without any areas. Then i publish the vm for lab users. The template vm is published without any error and i'm able to start and the get connect info of the lab vms created. While doing ssh, i get an error "Access denied".

Azure VM: SQL Nodes. Failover Cluster Resource
Hi,
Is it normal that the previously Primary Replica Node that held the Failover Cluster (FC) resource need to be restarted for the FC to be "released" to the new Primary Replica?
The Failover Cluster Name: FC.local
This is what happening in our environment.
During a failover, Server Manager and System events will start reporting errors:
Event ID 10028: DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer fc.local using any of the configured protocols; requested by PID 1d94 (C:\Windows\system32\ServerManager.exe).
Server Manager error: Refresh failed. FC.local: Refresh failed with the following error: The RPC server is unavailable.
FC.local: Configuration refresh failed with the following error: The metadata failed to be retrieved from the server, due to the following error: WinRM cannot complete the operation. Verify that the specified computer name is valid. that the computer is accessible
over the network, and that a firewall exception for the WinRM server is enabled and allows access from this computer. By default, the WinRM firewall exception for public profiles limits access to the remote computers within the same local subnets.
Is it by design / normal that a RESTART is required to release the FC resource to the new primary node?

Ability to create x86 Client Images
Hi
I know that x86 OS are not supported in Azure but states that they can be uploaded.
However we have a need to repeatedly provision and de-provision a testing environment that includes x86 client OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
I have attempted numerous times to create a vhd and prepare it using the following.

However i keep hitting issues in that either i can not RDP to the VM or I can not run commands (Such as Stop,Reset etc) as they hang when both using Powershell or From the Portal.
What we would ideally like to do is create a Image from the vhd once uploaded and then use Terraform + Ansible to provision the environment.
Works absolutely fine with x64 Client OS.
Has anyone else had the need to perform these tests and if were you able to work around these issues?

Cannot find anymore the Template VM's from the Dynamics-GP offer..
Hello,
I've been using Azure to work with a demo VM running SQL server and Dynamics GP.. The VM was created back in 2016 or 2017, based on a Marketplace template Dynamics-GP 2013-R2-Developer I believe..
Today I wanted to build a new VM based on that same template, but it was nowhere to find in the Marketplace.. so I did a quick research and found out that you can actually use PowerShell commands to search the marketplace catalog and create new VM's based on those templates..
I wasn't successful in creating the VM thru PS since the code implies to pass authentication with the parameter -Credential$cred `,
but somehow that didn't seem to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tried to create the VM thru the Azure-CLI prompt and got an error message returned, saying it couldn't find the Image file.. though it is still listed ??

PS: there was a typo in the URN.. but nonetheless, when trying to show the URN with the proper image name, it returns :

ssh connection timeout
Hi,
I am using deployment in Azure.
The deployment process is completed and did some changes in code for requirements.
From last two days onward I am unable to login into scale set VM (Where the main server related code exits) from Jumpbox using ssh. I am getting a connection timeout error.
The scale set VM don't have NSG. I am unable to enable ssh port in Azure portal.
Can anyone please help to solve this issue?

One of the requirement is to create two Load Balancer, one for the listener and one if for Windows Failover Cluster, pointing to the SQLAvailabilitySet (of the two SQL Azure VMs).

Two VMs in same VirtualNet stop communicate using just internal IP AND just in por 80
We have this service running a couple of years worling with no changes, but today two VMs stopping communication using internal IP and port (80)
We see if we changed for another port (443) or change for use external IP start working again very fast.
We run connective test and the result was communication error with the issue "Socket could not be opened to run the connectivity check" in the first machine. I don't know what this mean and how to solved.
