Windows Azure Virtual Machines scheduled maintenance

Hello Microsoft,

It is not clear from your email if this weekends scheduled maintenance will simply cause a reboot of our single instance VM's or if it will knock them offline for 6-8 hours as indicated in the email. Usually these emails will state the impact of the scheduled maintenance. This one does not. So I am unclear as what to expect.

Please clarify.
