Hello,
I want to write a powershell script that attaches a VHD datadisk that contains the installation file of an application, installs the application and detaches the disk which can then be used again to install the application on other machines in the same storage account. The script offlines the disk on the VM and then removes the data disk, the portal shows that the disk is not associated with any VM but if I try to attach the disk to another VM I receive an error stating that the data disk is still registered with the previous VM. How can I unregister the disk?
