Installed Specialized Ubuntu VM from VHD but cannot do ssh

Hello,

I have been trying to do ssh to my newly installed Ubuntu 14.04 VM to Azure Resource Manager but I am unable to do so. It says "ssh: connect to host [ipaddress] Operation timed out". I installed the VM from a VHD that I got from a VirtualBox Ununtu. I followed the installation instructions from https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/tree/master/201-vm-specialized-vhd. The VM is running and I checked the boot diagnostics and it shows a screenshot of a login option (I could login to the VirtualBox Ubuntu using this login). Please let me know if you want to know more information. I would appreciate any suggestion.
