I've got a new Windows Server 2012 R2 VM that I'm trying to configure FTP on. I'm able to FTP into it from the VM itself, but Ftp'ing from outside of Azure isn't working. I get prompted for a username and password, and if I enter the wrong password it immediately tells me that my credentials are invalid, but when I enter the correct password it just times out.
I've seen this thread and have followed the instructions to create endpoints for port 20 and 21 using PowerShell but it still isn't working. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsazure/en-US/8f697f17-72b7-46f7-8c97-398b91190a2f/server-2012-vm-on-azure-passive-ftp-wont-work?forum=WAVirtualMachinesforWindows
I've also tried disabling the Windows Firewall completely, to eliminate any potential firewall issues, still no joy.
Any ideas?
