Hi,
we are using Azure with two Virtual Machines (Classic), both running on Linux. We would like to change the size of the machine, but we don't want to lose any attached data - or interrupt the service from this server. No interruption must happen.
One of these machines is used for testing purposes and when we have changed its size, it has lost all the data. The other is production server and we can not let that happen to it.
With Azure, it sounds easy and it can easily be done through the Azure Management Portal, that is why incident with our test machine sounds odd. This should not be happening on the cloud service, right?
What is the correct procedure and what can we do to ensure everything goes smoothly?
Thanks,
Nikola
