I tried out the Azure VM Visual Studio 2013 preview image and when I ran Visual studio, I noticed that it did not have the C++ code template for Mobile Apps. Apparently this requires Windows 8.1.
Can I spin up a Windows 8.1 image and manually download the Visual Studio Preview 2013? For the windows VM images on azure, I saw only Windows Server 2012 Datacenter, Windows Server 2012 R2 Preview and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 July 2013. Which one of these will allow me to run Visual Studio 2013 with the latest Windows Mobile SDK that requires Windows 8.1?
