I have an Azure Virtual Machine (Windows Server 2012) that rebooted after an update and is stuck at "Preparing to Configure Windows, Do not turn off your computer."
I can't boot into safe mode to troubleshoot the issue, so I'm not sure what to do.
I've tried to connect Remote Process Explorer from another machine, but RPC doesn't appear to be working.
As a last resort, I've considered starting up a new machine and attaching the disks from the bad machine to the new machine.
Are there any tricks I can use to get past the configuration screen? (I've also tried CTRL-ALT-DELETE [CTRL-ALT-END]).
