Apparently I can not figure out how to get the network configured properly on a generic Win7 Ent x64 vhd created in Hyper-V and then uploaded to Azure. I have a network card added and set to DHCP. I create a new disk for the image and then deploy the virtual machine choosing that disk, and creating a new cloud service for it and choosing to open the RDP port to the VM. I can access the VM's created from Azure templates no problem.
Is there a better more technically in depth guide of this process, or does anyone have idea of what I can try?
