Good night my friends. I'm using Microsoft Azure services. I have a virtual machine with Ubuntu operating system and it runs a CMS that uses a SQL Server database located on another server as service Azure database.
The virtual machine is located in the central US and the database is in the south-central US region. Currently the slowness of the site is unacceptable. In fact, connections to databases are very high. At least 50 connections in one hour.
The questions are: Do the different geographical zones of the virtual machine and the database is a potential cause of slowness? Can I move the database in Azure to the same geographical zone of the virtual machine or vice versa?
Thanks for your help
