I uploaded a hyper-v virtual machine to Azure with OS and data disk. I noticed when looking at the disks for this VM a copy of the OS disk is there now. .../vhdstorage/osux3knr.qwk201307121854470318.vhd and appears that my VM is using that disk because the modified date for this VHD file is newer than the original OS disk.
I deleted the VM and recreated it. When creating it and choosing to create from MY DISKS, but the VHD above was not available only my original OS VHD. What is this second OS VHD that was created and if I choose the original VHD when recreating will it have my latest data?
