Is there any alternative to sysprep for windows image?

Hi all,

We are running our application on azure windows vm (windows os 2008 sp2), and we need to ssh to the vm that will be spawned. To automate our complete process we have stored the host files in the user directory, so that we can ssh the machine, as soon as its up. but as Azure documentation suggests that we should run sysprep before we create an image, when we run sysprep in to the machine and then create an image out of it, it deletes all the ssh key information. So we are not able to ssh to the machine after the machine is spawned. if we dont run sysprep before create the image, we are able to ssh to the machine after its spawned, but in the azure portal the machine always shown as in Provisioning state. Please suggest us some way so that we can get the ssh done in the windows machine as soon as its up, also the machine comes to the complete running state.
