We are using Azure for very little at the moment but want to add a fileserver. I've connected our subscription to our WAAD instance from Office 365. I just added a new VM using the 2012 R2 preview image. I'm configuring it for 'Work Folders.'
My question is twofold:
- Does the VM need to know about and participate in the WAAD in order to allow secure file access via work folders
- If not, then how do I setup my user accounts from Office 365 to use the work folders
I am running a test set of Win8.1 preview clients that I can set up to connect to work folders.
Perhaps one more question would be if it's possible to configure this through the new SSO apps panel that users in the WAAD can get to. I like this portal idea for Azure and non-Azure apps.
