Cannot RDP into new vm (Provisioning timed out)

Brand new Azure user, quick-created a standard VM (Windows Server 2012 Datacenter).
It failed to provision, its status was "Running (Provisioning timed out)" and I could not RDP into it.
So I deleted and created a new one.
Same result.
I tried reading this forum, but could not find any help. The only thing I could think of is the Active Directory item I got in my account (was added by the system).
