Hi Forumers.
Need your expert opinion on the above.
My organization has a Windows 2012 VM that's equipped with 2 cores, 3.5GB RAM and 2 disk attached to it.
We're using this to host our organization websites (under IIS).
The disk that host the OS is 30GB whereas the additional disk (50GB) is where we install all the necessary application.
We have just uncovered that our C drive is now left with 500MB - this is affecting our websites as there are many 3rd party application that fails because of the lack of space (directly affecting virtual memory).
I found out that a large chunk of space was taken up by the WINSXS folder; also understand that this folder cannot be removed as it store the installation files and windows updates.
What are my alternative to increase free space on C drive?
Can I relocate the WINSXS folder to another partition? Or is there a way I can expand the C drive?
Advise appreciated!
