VM Endpoint for website on custom TCP port not responding

Hello,

I have a website running on my Windows VM. The website is running on port 9898. A TCP endpoint was created in the Azure Web Portal. The local port is 9898 and the public port is 9898. Until this morning, I was able to access the website via my http://domainPrefix.cloudapp.net:9898.  I have no issue accessing the VM via RDP. Once on the VM via RDP, I can also access the website without issue. I've tried to remove and recreate the endpoint without success. Also, I've rebooted and shutdown the VM without success.   I am not sure how to troubleshoot the issue from here.

The only server role is IIS.
