I built an Azure SharePoint lab quite some time ago as a proof of concept for a client. The client decided to pass on Azure, so the lab went unused for about 6 or seven months.
Now the client has a renewed interest in Azure and SharePoint, but I've completely forgotten the credentials I used when provisioning my VM's. I found the following limnk which describes how to reset forgotten passwords:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/keithmayer/archive/2014/06/26/microsoft-azure-virtual-machines-reset-forgotten-admin-password-with-windows-powershell.aspx
I've followed the steps outlined in the article, but for some reason, I'm still unable to log into any of my Azure VM's.
All the steps I ran in PowerShell completed successfully, so not quite sure what the issue may be. There were no error messages raised. I also made sure that the password I chose fit the password complexity requirements.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
Thanks!
