Hey Guys,
Two weeks ago I setup a small VM in Azure and installed Teamspeak server.
In the Windows Server firewall, I allowed the teamspeak exe.
I created and endpoint for each port needed for TS (main one to connect is UDP 9987) and all was fine.
Two weeks ago everything worked fine but now I cannot connect to myvm.cloudapp.net anymore.
I know the server has rebooted because of patching, but I did several test and am quite puzzled by this weird behaviour
- I confirmed teamspeak is running on the VM
- I deleted/recreated the endpoints as shown above
- When using http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to test other endpoint such as 49493 (RDP) or 5986 (PowerShell)it shows as 'open' (so the port testing method works). But for any other endpoint I create the test always end up as 'port is closed'
- I deleted and recreated the firewall rule to allow the exe
- To test, I also created a manual rule to manually open the same ports as the endpoints for any exe this time
- I even switched off the FW completely and the port still showed as closed
I don't know what else to do.
From the TS Client, I keep getting the message below when trying to connect :
<23:21:43> Trying to connect to server on myvm.cloudapp.net
<23:21:48> Failed to connect to server
Would you guys have any idea?
Thanks in advance
