My East Coast VM had persistent disk errors from 4:14:44 EST until it crashed at 7:27:34 PM EST. It was restarted, stopped etc for about 1 hour before it came back to life.
This box otherwise runs flawlessly, we see nothing on Azure Status.
Sample errors in the thousands:
The IO operation at logical block address 0x600840 for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\Ide\IdeDeviceP0T0L0-0) was retried.
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur in VolumeId: C:, DeviceName: \Device\HarddiskVolume1.(The I/O device reported an I/O error.)
Platform issue?
