I have created two VMs and both times I have the same problem. After creating the machine and connecting ok to it, I leave for a few days and then I can never re-connect to the vm again. Tried everything to get to the machine: restarted, change cores, fiddled with the endpoints waste of time. Nothing helps short of deleting the VM and starting all over again (not a solution). Please advise if its worth our while to continue looking at this service. I notice in the forums that there have been issues with RDP. Are these fixed? Do you have a solution, do you have a fix date, patch date or what? Otherwise we are just wasting our client's time.
If it helps I notice that you cannot ping the machine again when the RDP fails. I could ping it when we could connect but not after the RDP fails. What happens do these machines just fall asleep and die after remaining idle for a while.
I have read a number of threads in this forum and the first response is usually a very dumb question. Is there a firewall blocking the port? The answer is "how is possible to create the VM in the first place and then connect to it with RDP as soon as the VM is created if there was a firewall blocking the port."
Still waiting for some light on this subject.
