Timeout on provisioning a VM

Hello,

I have created a VM on Hyper-V containing a Windows Server 2008R2 x64 which is running here well. Then my goal was to upload it as an image to Windows Azure to create individual VMs in Windows Azure from it. So I followed this description here: http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/manage/windows/common-tasks/upload-a-vhd/?fb=de-de

1. I ran "sysprep" on the VM

2. I created a storage for it

3. I prepared the connection to Windows Azure with Power Shell (worked fine)

4. I uploaded the VHD-file as a Page-blob using "CloudExplorer" (PowerShell always just had return an error while running over night)

But when I now try to create a VM using this image then it takes at least one hour till a timeout while provisioning occurs. Then I'm not able to connect to the VM via RDP (RDP-endpoint exists) - even after a reboot.
I have now tried this two times with the same effect.

This is my abonnement-ID: 01d4a4fb-792f-4a4f-99bf-01c2bb00a864

Can you please tell me why this does not work in this way?

Thanks for your efforts in advance.

Kind regards,
Dirk
