I provisioned 6 new Windows Server 2012 Datacenter edition VMs in Azure. I gave them all static internal IPs in the 10.0.0.0/255.224.0.0 subnet so that they can reach each other. The first one I set up as a DC/DNS. The second one I set up to run SQL Server (2012 Evaluation edition).
The first time I logged into my VMs, I went to Local Machine and edited the Ethernet settings to configure static IPs and for all the VMs except the DC I changed the DNS setting to point first to the DC (10.10.10.10) and then to 168.63.129.16
However, After making this change in the second server (the one I'm using to run SQL Server) I can no longer reach it vi Azure connect. In fact, I can't even ping it.
What is happening and how do I get access to my VM again?
