I work for a firm who are looking to deliver training courses on their software. I have upload a VHD file containing a virtual machine running as stand-alone.
I am looking to clone this vhd file multiple times, create disks from the vhd's and then spin up multiple virtual machines from them.
I'm not looking to sysprep a machine and create an image from it, I just want to duplicate the file
While there are things out on the web that talk about copying blobs from one storage account to another, I just want to do this within the same storage account.
I've looked at the azcopy command and multiple 3rd party utilities (Azure Storage Explorer, Cerebrata Azure Explorer and Cloudberry Explorer for Azure Blobs) but none of them will allow me to make a copy of a file which already exists and give it a different name
Can anyone help me out there, I would genuinely appreciate any assistance
