We decided to keep Azure on this subscription, changing the status from cancelled free to live with active card.
However, whenever we try to publish without first deleting the production or staging, we get:-
15:18:54 - Uploading Package...15:20:02 - Updating...
15:20:50 - The server encountered an internal error. Please retry the request.
Similarly our database won't go up from Basic -> Standard in the portal as it reports "The operation is not supported for your subscription offer type."
Also importing a database to new basic gives:-
Error encountered during the service operation. Could not import package. Error SQL72014: .Net SqlClient Data Provider: Msg 40827, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The operation is not supported for your subscription offer type. Error SQL72045: Script execution error. The executed script: CREATE DATABASE [$(DatabaseName)] COLLATE SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS (EDITION = 'Basic', SERVICE_OBJECTIVE = 'Basic', MAXSIZE = 2 GB)
Looks suspiciously like our account is flagged as free still somehow, even though it's an active subscription.
