Internet access on Linux VM

hi,

I've deployed brand new Ubuntu Server 14 VM. I can ssh into it, but once I'm inside I do not have access to public internet. Example: ping to www.google.com has 100% packet loss. DNS seem to be working fine, though, since the names are properly resolved.

Any tips what should be configured to make Linux VM access public internet?
