Cant Connect to Linux VM remote desktop despite following tutorials

The problem we have is that we are not able to run a Virtual Machine for our Linux server. We already figured out that the OS running on that server is Ubuntu 12.04. The following has been tried without any success:
1. Created a remote Desktop endpoint with 3389 port
2. Gave "Permit" action to needed subnet inside ACL
3. Create a totally new cloud service, with new endpoint

4. I've also followed the tutorial you have for creating VM in Linux: http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/virtual-machines-linux-tutorial/

Have also followed http://blogs.technet.com/b/uktechnet/archive/2013/11/12/running-a-remote-desktop-on-a-windows-azure-linux-vm.aspx

When I press "Connect" button I get an error.  I don't know if this has something to do with some kind of firewall blocking us, or what else it can be?
