We have a BI application - having Processing, Mart and   Distribution Servers

Processing server is taking data from several data sources(kept   in azure as well as On-Premises)

through ETL packages

thank processing happens on processing server and processed data   goes to downstream application or reporting URL

We only have A7 VM with us

and not the 16 core processors( like those in On-Prem)

so we are thinking of distributing the server load among these 8   core processors.

we want to know about the success chances of this approach as we   are expecting network latency as processing will be distributed among servers
