Hi,
I created a Cloud Service some months ago and all was fine, but for some days now when I connect by RDP to the Cloud Service VM the OS is prompting for activation.
I thought it was some momentary problem and did another deploy of the service but the problem continues.
Also tried to manually activate the OS and I get this error:
Error Code: 0xC004F074
Error Description: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted. Please see the Application Event Log for additional information.
In other related posts I saw the suggestion of deleting the service and created a new one, but in my case that should be avoided till the very end. The IP of the VM is being used to connect to other servers outside Azure and deleting and recreating will change the IP creating a massive service disruption.
How can I resolve this situation??
