Two iis web sites, one http and one https on the same domain

I current have 2 http web sites under iis with the same domain, differentiated by the host header name (in test):
http://www.xyz.com
http://myapp.xyz.com
I would like to get a cert and put the second under https (proposed):
http://www.xyz.com
https://myapp.xyz.com
Im wondering if I have an endpoint for 443, a cert for this domain name, and a seperate
website for 443, will allow it.  Is that possible?
