Looking through online docs and the source code of the azure python sdk it looks like the only way to assign a static VNet IP to a VM is with powershell? I do not use a Windows OS. I prefer to do this in the python azure sdk and Portal if I'm in a web browser.... I'm not seeing this functionality. This is critical to moving our stuff into production. At present it looks like the IPs shift across VMs at boot time. We are using only Linux (Centos 7) in our VMs
