Must Reactivate Office Professional 2013 After Restarting VM

Every time I restart my VM after shutting it down, when I open Word, the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard opens, with a message that Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 detected changes to the hardware on my computer, and I must activate it.

I cannot activate over the Internet, so each time, I must go through the 5 minute phone call to re-activate the software.

Is there any way to avoid this time-wasting annoyance.
