Deploy Microsoft Developer Training Kit VM's into Azure

Hi there,

We have an external company coming onsite soon to run a MS Biztalk Training course to our middleware teams. The course content is provided by MS via http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14865.

What is provided here are 14 vm's that all run of a single VHD plus another VHD specific for the various labs they will be running. The install instructions as follows:

In the Setup folder there is an application that will add all the VMs into Hyper-V. The app does this while maintaining only a single copy of the base images. To install, open a command promt with the "Run as Administrator" option and change directory to the setup folder. The import will fail if you do not run the command prompt with this option. Then run the command:

importVM.exe full path to base image

For example, if the root of the labs is c:\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 Training, then the command would be:

    importVM.exe "C:\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 Training\VM\common\BizTalk2010Demo.vhd"

We run vmware and not HyperV and do not have available HW to build up HyperV just for this and I'm reluctant to nest the HV hypervisor within vmware. However we do have a corporate Azure account. Therefore it "appears" the best way to go about this is to try and run these in Azure.

My question is there an easy way to set all these custom vm's up in Azure. As mentioned the installer provides 14 vm instances but this is per person and we have 17 attending the training.

Any advice very much appreciated.

Thanks!
