How do I install a c compiler on Suse Linux VM in Azure Cloud

Hi,

   I have a suse LINUX VM created in Microsoft Azure cloud. I am also able to login to root user. How do I install a C compiler on this VM. I tried using yum command to install the gcc compiler but yum command is not found.
