virtual machines stopped/restarted

Hi,

I have 3 virtual machines(Server 2012 R2) all in the same virtual network(and of course in the same cloud service).

one VM was in the stopped state, I didn't stopped it and only I has access to the portal.

another  VM was restarted, I know that is was restarted because I have an application that i run manually when I need to restart that VM, that application was not running.

the third VM was ok is I think, I can't really know since its an IIS and if it was also restarted it works ok after the restart.

after I started the machine that was stopped, it was running for a few minutes and then it became unreachable on the vnet and also via RDP, I restarted the VM(it was restarted ok) but there was still no connection to it, finally I shut down and started it and everything was ok.

There was nothing on the problematic VMs on the OS event viewer regarding the stop or restart.

However, on both problematic VMs there was this error on the OS event viewer:

"The VM and host networking components failed to negotiate protocol version '5.0'"

There is a lot of service impact messages on the portal, but they are regarding navigating the portal, metrics and other things not related to my issue.(but these messages suspiciously appeared more or less at the same time of the issue).

This is a production environment.

Can I contact support about it although I have only billing support?

How can I know what caused this issue?

Thank You!
