Hello,
I created a virtual machine and on it I installed joomla to give it a try. When Joomla install and create a site, it does in the format http://yourip/joomlasite .
Now I buyed a domain from GoDaddy and want to map the domain to the site created.
I found various articles, like this (
http://www.f5debug.net/post/2012/06/15/How-to-point-your-own-Custom-Domain-Name-in-Windows-Azure-Meet-Azure-Edition.aspx) on how to do this for typical websites, but joomla creates a path like that described at the beginning of this question, and I cannot map the entire path. So, what I would like to do is to point to http://mysite.com and it goes directly to http://mysite.com/joomlasite (and maybe hide the entire joomla site path): at this moment I only can call my site with http://mysite.com/joomlasite
Thanks a lor in advance to who can help me.
